Blog blog blog.

I really want to blog more. It’s been a goal of mine since March and I just…haven’t. I can’t say with any level of certainty or accuracy as to why I haven’t exactly; I just haven’t. This is an attempt to change all that. I have decided that although my blog will be a general…… Continue reading Blog blog blog.

ON THE ‘GRAM

_lindsaybee

I’ve just realised I never updated ‘the ‘gra I’ve just realised I never updated ‘the ‘gram’ with how my birthday went. Well, it didn’t snow! It was sunny in the morning...not so sunny in the afternoon but that didn’t stop me hugging a cuppa in the back garden while Paul was over so we could have a socially distanced dinner together. Michael and Megan got me an art commission of me as a water bender, some socks (that my lymphoedema legs will appreciate!), and some Creme egg brownie. Megan’s parents got me a cheese nibble box! Paul also got me some cheese, a wonderful rainbow goose, a little photo of us together in a heart frame, and he made me a couple of necklaces. I spent a wonderful couple of hours with my sister and her kids in the morning, we went for a drive along the coast in the afternoon, and then Paul spent a couple of hours in our garden in the evening. Megan and I made Mac and cheese for dinner using our favourite recipe.

All in all, it was a lovely day.

If anyone wants to get me more cheese and brownie, I am happy to receive more 😂
Work Buddy ❤️ Work Buddy ❤️
I’m just stood here watching the snow fall, thin I’m just stood here watching the snow fall, thinking to myself that come Tuesday, there’s a realistic possibility that I’ll be cancelling my birthday plans. My sister has invited me to her garden for a socially distanced birthday breakfast, and Paul is due to come over for dinner in the back garden...if it still looks like this, that won’t be happening 😢

Sigh. Trying to stay positive; the weather will hopefully turn around!

This view from my desk. I can’t wait to get out This view from my desk. I can’t wait to get outside and into the sun later on!

The good weather is a blessing. Paul is coming over for tea tonight. We haven’t eaten a meal together since Christmas Day. I’m excited and nervous probably in equal parts. It will be outside (the wind better stay away!), socially distanced and possibly awkward, but it’s a meal together, the first in just over 3 months. Baby steps.

(Yes that is a cushion for the cat. It’s either that or she sits on my keyboard 🤣)

Megan and I went to the park. There were daffs, g Megan and I went to the park. There were daffs, guffullos and even a robin on a spade.

We were legit excited about the wooden sculptures. There are new and amazing. There were some others too I didn’t even pics of; next time!
